I'm looking for someone to jump off the bridge with me.
Someone to step out onto the branch with me, and not worry if it will hold.
Someone who will take a chance, and meet me in the middle.
Someone who's not afraid of the consequences, who will deal with them if they happen.
Someone who would rather deal with the hurt than have to...

Well...I just spent the last three hours reading through all of my old blog posts...ALL of them! I forget sometimes that I've been on here for nearly five years! Damn a lot has changed! Then again, a lot hasn't changed either! Generally, I laughed at myself a lot. Had to pause a number of times to think and figure out who a couple of people...

So, I failed my exam last week...not by a whole lot...and there is an opportunity for extra credit in the class that would bring me up to a passing grade...plus there are four more exams in the class, so hopefully I can still pull off a good grade! My exam this week went MUCH better! Could be a result of the fact that I actually...

Seriously...a month since I've had time to get on SG! *sigh*

Medical school is still quite hard! We're half way through the semester though...which means half way done with anatomy...for which I am immensely grateful! The exams so far have been going pretty well. I've Actually gotten high Bs and As on all of them so far! I've been studying my ass off though! Like...

I just realized that SG is really the only place I have to let things out away from everyone around me. I don't know anyone in Florida from SG, and most of the people here that I try to tell about it give me odd looks. At first this sorta made me sad, because I generally really like SG people and it makes me feel...

Well...I'm officially moved to Florida. We left Monday morning after packing the trailer and got out about 9am. It was about 32 hours of driving split between my dad and myself, but we finally got to my apartment around 4:30 on Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately, both of my roommates are out of town..so I had to go harass the maintenance guys for another key to get...

Back from Seattle...

Well, since my climbing partner for Rainer backed out on my a week before our trip, I ended up canceling my attempt. Instead, I bummed around Seattle for a few days and then helped my little sister driver her stuff back to Colorado. All in all, it was a fantastic trip!! I've been in Seattle a few times before, and while I've...

that sucks about rainier. it's been one i've been wanting to do for a long time now. i think next summer is the projected time it will be done.
glad you still had a good time in seattle though. but still, rainier would have been nice.

Great pictures. Best city ever!

Baker/Rainier trip got canceled...so I'll be bumming around the Seattle area May 21-23rd if anyone is in that area and wants to hang out shoot me a PM.

SOOO very much to tell, but I've been WAY too busy to post...and will continue to be until I'm back from Washington next week...but I'll post a better update then.

So...I had the entire weekend off of work. Friday through Monday. I did absolutely nothing! I continually tried to get my few remaining local friends to go out and do something...or even stay in and do something. No luck. The girl I went out with a few time a couple weeks ago, hasn't contacted me in about two weeks (well unless you count a strange...

I'm thinking I might get an iPhone...any opinions?

In other news...no miracles for med school...got rejected from CU last week (actually the day after my last post). Other then that...mainly life as usual, work, pool, drinking heavily, climbing/skiing...although there are potentially new opportunities developing...we'll have to see...

EDIT: I just read through some of my old blog posts...it made me kinda sad...but hopefully I'll get...

that actually sounds pretty fantastic. i was just commenting on how i'm pretty sick of seasons right now. i need to live someplace like florida where it's hot or hotter. smile
i'm getting the rod of aesclepius on my left flank next month. the center is going to be a juniper staff and i'm going to have a phrase by the man himself written either over or around it. that part is still up in the air.
how long have you been climbing?
hephaestos:
both of those mountains are beautiful. while my tastes don't run toward mountaineering as strongly i've definitely been on rainier and loved it.
i'm much more of a boulderer but i ended up tearing my brachioradialis last year. tried to dyno out of a lieback and my feet let go dropping my whole weight on my left arm. no good. it's still very particular.
i really love it up here in so many ways but i feel like i need to be in the southwest soon. i need the desert. maybe i'll live out in eastern oregon or something.

So...after a MUCH too long hiatus, I decided to reactivate my SG account...yea...I'm sure no one cares...wow, that was more emo than I usually am!

In other news...I'm going to medical school, so I'll be leaving Colorado in July barring a miracle getting me into CU. If anyone ACTUALLY cares to hear more about my life...let me know.
angeluca:
I'm glad to hear that you are definitely going back to school. If the miracle of CU doesn't happen, where will you be going?
