Well...my computer is back! Actually I got it back on Thursday, but I've been kinda busy...Seems my computer has been overheating (a problem with this model acording to Dell) so they replaced the mainboard, CPU, heat-sink and fan and now it works like a charm!
Seattle rocked!! The drive kinda sucked, I didn't realize that there really isn't anything of worth on the trip between Ft. Collins and about 20 min out of Seattle! Once we were to Seattle though, great times!! We spent an afternoon wandering around the area near the space-needle. They had a giant music festival called Bumpershoot going on, but we didn't want to pay for tickets to that since we couldn't stay all day. Instead, we went to two of the coolest places I've ever seen!! First we went to a place called the Experience Music Project. Its kinda like a Rock and Roll museum with a focus on Seattle and Pacific Northwest groups. It was tons of fun, they have things like hand-written music and lyrics from people like Kurt Cobain. They also had an entire exhibit on Jimi Hendrix...that was SWEET!! They even had a live concert going on while we were there!!
The Next place we went was right next-door (both of these places are literally at the base of the space-needle) and it was the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. Now this was REALLY fun!! They had memorabelia and set items from some of the greatest Sci Fi movies and books ever! They had stuff from Blade Runner, Star Wars, Star Trek, Dune, The Matrix and TONS of others!! I would totally go back again!
My sister and I also went for a drive around the Olympic peninsula and up into the National Park. It was a good time, and I've got a few pictures I'll try to post eventually.
