I have almost two weeks off of work. This would be great...if it wern't for the fact that I'm totally broke and don't have any money to enjoy my time off with. And the double whammy of it is that if I'm not working...I'm obviouslly not MAKING and money! 
I'm hoping that one of my two jobs will page out some shifts so that I can pay my bills at the end of the month!! I did something I always told myself I wouldn't do...I applied for a second credit card...I don't like the idea of putting myself into MORE debt...but I have to eat somehow! Hopefully things arn't really as bad as I think they are!
Gonna go see a hockey game tonight!! Free tickets from work are sweet!!
Its really hard to find something to do during the day when you've got no $$. I'm pretty much sitting in my room watching cable TV...while I can generally find SOMETHING to watch (usually the History channel)...I'm starting to get really fed-up with the commercials....I don't need a powered wheelchair....I don't need a Medicare prescription drug plan....and I haven't had an accident so I dont' need the "strongarm!"
I love how the quotes that best fit with my life always seem to come from music...maybe its cause I love music...or maybe its 'cause music is one of the last bastions in popular culture of romaticism and I'm a hopeless romantic. In any event, here's the quote that fueled this little rant:

I DO have a nice collection of DVDs, and it doesn't cost me anything to watch them...so if anyone wants to come over and watch one drop me a line.
Oh, and I'm hoping to do another Halo day in the near future, but I need to find some TVs 'cause my roommate is leaving this weekend.
