OK...sorry for Monday...I get a little....antisocial sometimes...yea...

But I'm all better now!! *GRIN* The week is already over! YEAH!! I've gotta go down to Englewood tomorrow to recert my ACLS, so no school tomorrow! On top of that....I have no work all weekend, so I get to totally kickback!!

Tomorrow night I think I'm gonna try to go see "The Constant Gardener." Saturday night I'm...

Current Mood: PISSED OFF!!

I tried to goto a sneak preview of Tim Burton's new movie "Corpse Bride." Well, the damn CU Program Council made about twice as many tickets as they had seats, so when I showed up almost a hour early for the movie they were already full! Now that's not a huge deal, but what pissed me off was all the damn...

OK, the computer is FINALLY working again!! YEA!! Sorry everyone for being such a looser the last couple of weeks!

Then again, there really isn't much in the way of new things to tell you all.

School is going well so far, my classes actually seem pretty nice. We'll see what I think after my first exams in Genetics and Critical Thinking.

Work continues. I...

First day of my last semester!! Can't wait until December when its finally done!

Boulder really SUCKS with all these damn freshmen and they're parents. I can't decide which is worse! It really sucks that I've got all these freshman level classes and I'm surrounded by their idiocity! Oh well, four months.

I had a shooting competition on Sunday, I REALLY need to practice more!!...

i think my semester will be relatively easy...except for the upper division physics class i inadvertantly took since it's also under the environmental studies heading...luckily there's people in there that were in my environmental math class, and i know those people suck at math too! biggrin

reading in classes during a normal semester seem like cake compared to summer classes...like, "i have a week to read the chapter? pfff...."
smashedpumpkin:
no. it's gonna be easy f'real. like last fall...last fall was pretty easy. and i didn't even get behind. i think it's because i went to class a lot. it's the key. wink

Ah, only one more long shift of work left...Monday morning through Wednesday morning...and it shouldn't be too bad. Ofcourse, then I really just start school, which is kinda like working another full time job, at least as far as free time and sleep are concerned. But its my last semester.

I went and bought books for my classes the other day. Seems that every single...

my books were only $220 this time...but some classes didn't have books listed. which probably means that they'll be those dumb campus printed books that cost like $50 and you can't sell back. i hate those.
smashedpumpkin:
i'm guessing her family knows where she is at this point, i hope. her mom called the night she went missing and asked for her and didn't know where she was. she said she'd call if she found something out, but never did.

have you sold your summer books back yet? whatever

Well another long stretch of work out of the way. I ended up taking a shift Saturday night, so I was there from then until just this morning. The was probably the hardest stretch of work I've ever had. Sunday was especially rough. We got hammered with calls all day and all night!! Some pretty nasty ones too, two DOAs and one or two emergent...

hope you enjoy your "little break". tongue

Day 1 of my week off:

I took my bike for a nice long cruise in the mountains today. I went up the back way through Coal Creek to Nederland, then up to Estes Park and back down the Big Thompson through Loveland and finally home. All said, it was about 160 miles, I left at 11:30 and got home around 4:30 just before the...

i'm looking for a cruiser, but i'm not sure what i want. a friend has a honda shadow that i really enjoyed...so, we'll see. my uncle is selling his bike-only thing, it's bright yellow.

well....i went and got some tasty food and then i went to a show so i feel a lot better. it was one of those disgruntled days anyway. history tests drain me emotionally for a good three hours, so i was finally coming out of it and that point and then i was grumpy again.

but the day became progressively better. biggrin

I had a blast at RHPS Friday night wiht the SGCO crowd! They showed a great indi short before the movie called Gay by Dawn...it was hilarious!! I fuckin laughed my ass off!! Gotta find that online! ponytail girl! she's way cute!

haha...i've felt pretty intelligent in some cu classes too...especially the math class i had. and i'm not a math person AT ALL. you wonder how some of these kids manage to fill out applications sometimes.

anyhoo, that's a really good idea. i think i'll skip the reading beginning...tonight. and resume next week. and create my really awesome mind-blowing comment. tongue

i have a really good diary somewhere (circa 4th and 5th grade) and i don't know where it is. i'm going to run out of 3rd/4th grade material soon...and my middle/high school ones aren't really funny. just emo.

i whipped out the calculator (because i'm dorky) and calculated the number of hours you're going to work in a week in august. 75.55555556. damn. and another job also? is there any sleep time in that? i once worked a 70 hour week when i was 17 (subway and water world) and thought i was going to DIE. i can't imagine more than that and for a month!

Got your app to SG Motorcycles. Please post in MY journal a little bit about what you ride, where, how long you've been riding, etc. Anything to let me know you're actually interested in SGMC will do. If you know a current SGMC member, have him/her leave me a note in my journal.

Thanks.

Form letter above. Congrats on the Volusia! I just got back from CO, you have about 1/2 of America's great roads there. It sounds like you're a new rider, please pardon if you're not. If you haven't taken the Motorcycle Safety Foundation class, go do it. If you have taken it, start looking into a track school that specializes in cornering skills. I ride a Moto Guzzi cruiser, but I loved California Superbike School so much I've taken it 3 times when they come to Pennsylvania. Look for them at a track near you. With roads like Trail Ridge Road, Million Dollar Hwy, etc. you need serious cornering skills. So drop me a note and join SGMotorcycles.

WOW....life is so wonderful sometimes!! (No...I didn't get laid wink ).

So first off, beer is wonderful!! We got about thirty people together at Old Chicago's on Saturday night and drank the entire world beer tour (110 different beers) in one sitting...now if you do the math on that, it comes out to be something like almost 4 beers a person. Well when I counted, I...

six months after you start "dating"? that seems like a long time...i suppose there wasn't any discussion of your "hard" or "soft" limits yet then... wink

i decided to meet up for rocky horror in the little parkish grassy area across the street from the teahouse and the museum of contemporary art between 7:30 and 8 before the movie starts. i'm going to the teahouse before then...taking a girl from work out on a date....yessss....HOT DATE. wink

so you should come meet up then, if you'd like! biggrin

i have it narrowed down to two possiblities as to who biochem girl could be. either a girl with long hair and glasses or a small girl who has a cute ponytail sometimes. alright. which one? tongue wink

i can't wait for the weekend! i need a break from the usual week monotony. also going up to winter park for an art show...hope it's way cooler (temperaturewise) up there. someone at work also told me that "hogfest" is up there this weekend too? you could go and relish in the comraderie with fellow bikers now! biggrin
