Friday - I experienced my first migrane! I was at work when the flashing lights happened, then my temperature skyrocketed, i started pouring sweat and i couldn't see! Yay! Then i was shaking and my boss' son, Roman, went out and bought me water and orange juice.. so i drank some of both.. then i was in the back room and my stomach just started churning.. and i rushed to the bathroom only to power puke cold watered down orange juice. I waited about an hour and a half and i still didn't feel any better, so Melvin - the salon's helper - drove me home (thankgoodness). At home my sickness developed into a blinding headache accompanied by the inability to keep any liquid or solid in my system. autoreject!
So I felt better by exactly Saturday morning when I had to be at work for 10. I did my first insalon perm and also made a really interesting return client. She's losing her hair, sounds very lonely, suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome, among many other sicknesses. Poor dear.. well, i guess she liked her hair!
ALSO! My boss, Anna, dropped in later on in the day and proceeded to tell me that the client I had serviced earlier in the week, Jimi.. (he gave me his number alonog with my tip and said 'maybe a movie sometime or something') andyways, he CALLED her.. and was like "how long has the new girl been there? think you can hook me up with her? i gave her my name and number!" and Anna just laughed.. see, he's 36. and a man. I just felt like telling her to tell him "Oh god, just tell him I don't date men!" but I couldn't out myself to four people at once. haha.
So then mom and dad drove up from home for the day and dropped in the salon, turns out i can do my mom's hair for free.. so i gave her the works and a brand new haircut that looks awesome on her. She gave me 10$
yay mom.
Then after work I went to Alicia and Wally's (Alicia is one of my coworkers) and we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail.. and I've seen it a million times, but I still laughed my hole out again this time! These people were on SO MANY DRUGS.. they must have been to make this movie. Effing random shit. Love it.
Took the last bus 1/2 way home and caught a cab the rest of the way. Just exhausted.. I barely slept the night before and that migrane took everything out of me... Plus, I didn't eat for over 24 hours. hah.
Ate some awesome Tex Mex Doritos at Alicia and Wally's though. Along with a small bag of Dill Pickle. Num nums. Chips were exactly what I needed. Just something small and overprocessed and trashy that I don't have an abundance of at home. hahaha.
Today I'm on a mission.

3;; take out GIANT BAG of SQUISHY, STINKY GARBAGE
4;; pay RENT!
5;; buy new bus pass
6;; purchase more toothpaste
7;; GO OUT FOR LIVE MUSIC
