Uh...sweetie, forgive me for saying so, but S.B. is no "chafed wonderland." Not that it's not an interesting place. I find the juxtiposition of the college frat boys, super-rich retirees & hemp-wearing burnout cases makes for interesting local color. A very good friend of mine lives in Summerland and it is beautiful (if not somewhat remote for my taste).
