I haven't updated in a month! What is up with that?
So, Saturday night, I went to Roller Derby where our Vice Squad beat some lame team from Phoenix...WE RULE. They oughta move the capitol back down here for this. No, really.
A band played at the match and the "after party" named Rancid Vat. They are probably the worst band I have ever seen that makes money. I think that they thought they were Motorhead. And yeah...they were just like Motorhead, only no good.
One guy told me, "you know, the sound in here is real bad." True, it was a skating rink. But they sounded bad at the bar later too.
I looked them up on AllMusicGuide. They have been together since 1981! You'd think that after 24 years, they might have learned to tune their guitars.
I must say though...as long as they were on stage, I felt better about my lack of musical talent.
I said they were the worst professional band I've seen. I can't think of too many non-professionals that are worse. The amateurs at least care about doing a good job.
