i am still working part-time for the catering company. i'm so experienced with job hunting that i'm bound to get a full-time job soon. if it pays more, offers more hours and puts me in contact with fewer prima donnas than the old job, i will consider it a vast improvement. now that i don't work at the other restaurant, i might go back in and show some interest in the bartendress.

i feel like i'm between realities right now, and that i have a perspective worth examining. certain things need to be reshaped and reworked, others are going to get trashed. on three different fronts i worked very passionately and diligently, only to be found expendable, or replaceable. sometimes there are lessons to be learned in these situations, sometimes it's more about the other party involved.
