KENTUCKY DERBY. WOOT. i grew up working in horse racing in new mexico as a camera man and video guy, so i love this tradition. especially so close on the heels of the masters golf tournament. it's a sports' fans wet dream right now ; baseball has started, playoff basketball and hockey, golf's first major and the run for the roses all in a two-three week stretch. one of the best basketball series ever has a game 7 tonight in boston. i'm playing hooky from schoolwork and going to the bellagio.
