Well hello. Hope all is well out you way.

I'm above ground. That's a good start. Good luck on the job hunting. NM is supposed to be pretty tough right now. Is it?

Hope things are going well after some tough sledding.

Ugh, I think I've finally gotten over that Super Bowl, at least well enough. It wouldn't have been nearly as bad had I not been living in Baltimore....

i am LOVING hunting for a job in this economy. not. damn me for being a professional gambler and out of what the rest of the world considers 'a real job' for so long. i thought i was being resourceful.

warning : football post

go brett favre. i like to call him bert fever. i am hoping the vikings can dial up some short-yardage pass plays and render the cowboys defense a little less nasty than it has been over the past four weeks. and as much as i enjoy watching the jets play, i'd much rather see a colts vs. chargers afc championship game....

I guess God wanted Kurt Warner to get hammered by that viscious block and sent into retirement wondering how those concussions are going to impact on the rest of his life. Why doesn't he praise the Lord about those things in his interviews?

Much luck on the hunt!

I've had to step away from poker for a while. Other than the SG game, I find I'm struggling and getting frustrated. I'm not losing huge amounts of money, but losing none the less. Could be concentration, could be a regression in my skills. Regardless, knowing that I need to walk away for a bit is more important than just throwing money away. Even if it is only $5.

i watched inglorious basterds last night, and was very pleasantly surprised. tarantino is a master, and in such a short time, with so few movies. a few scenes in the movie are among some of the best i've recently seen.

I've been interesting in seeing it. Unfortunately, our only local video store (Blockbuster) went out of business. I suppose I'll have to buy it.
wsoxfan:
I loved it too. My favorite movie of all time is Pulp Fiction.

Get better soon.

december 27th. really? 2009 is gone already?

i have moved back to new mexico due to a few small hitches in the las vegas employment search. the strange thing is, the positions i am applying for pay as much here in albuquerque, santa fe and las cruces as they do in sin city. and the unemployment rate in las vegas just topped 18%. i can...

Same to you. Maybe the Eagles will break through this year and win it all. McNabb looks damn good. "This town's in tatters."

Congrats on the move back. Best of luck in finding a fulfilling job to fill your days and your bank account in 2010.
