i had forgotten how good sierra nevada pale ale is. i've always been a fan of guiness, bass, harp and newcastle brown or any brown or nut ale, but it's been a long time since i had a hoppy beer. delicious. i'll add it to the faves list along with grey goose, bombay sapphire, jaegermeister, crown royal and captain morgan's.

The key to efficent workplace relationships is just putting in enough effort to get by and then at crucial times busting-out and saving the day (not to often mind you). People usually attribute your performance to luck or some other statistically insignificant concept and it's way easier to manipulate them for annoying/hilarious purposes down the road. If I manage to keep myself in a mild state of amusment for 8 hours, I've done my job.

The last 2 jobs I had made me jump through a LOT of hoops to get in and it was frustrating. And I'm going through something similar again now. It's been back and forth for 2 weeks now. Meanwhile, my insurance agent's license is about to expire. You know, if you're gonna hire me, do it. If you're not interested, pick up the phone and say so. I'm a grown-up. I can handle it. Don't give me the runaround about paperwork and calls to upper management and all the other BS lines they feed you. Just be honest so I can move on to the next thing.
