He's snarky and arrogant, but I think he's ok. He's one of the more moderate Pats fans in the group. In that he's not a total dick if criticize his team, and he's not much of a bragger.

the one-outer is a fascinating poker experience. basically, what happens is a player can only win if one card in the deck shows its ugly head. there are longer odds, for instance, when a back-door draw is needed to make someone a winner. that means a precise combination of two running cards is needed. i could write a fucking book about getting beat by one-outers...

I've got a game coming up in 2 weeks. Do you have any tips or a good resource I can go to do some quick learning?

I plan to lose, I just want to play moderately well so that my bluffs seem believable.

Well well... the food is freaking amazing. I have had great meal after great meal. Things are good.
So good to hear the AC/DC while online in a cyber cafe in Mexico. Needed it a bit. Thanks.

this is probably my favorite matchbox 20 song. i also like unwell, 3am, bent, if you're gone and long day. i didn't like this band when they first came out, and the true rockers are probably puking right now, but i think rob and the band are talented musicians and good songwriters.

Yeah, I agree. They looked great tonight. And when Bynum gets back, they'll be even better. We'll see how good the Mavs are once J-Kidd gets used to that team. On a somewhat unrelated note, Chris Paul's got a ridiculously bright future ahead of him.

had a fun weekend with my family. they're good company. we don't have any silly family drama, and i feel extremely fortunate for that. my mom and i have harsh words every once and awhile, but we always hug it out. her second husband is a gem. we gambled some, ate some amazing food, and shopped and walked all over the city. is it wrong...

Orlando's another good choice. I still say the East is wide open, even though people seem convinced that only Detroit or Boston have a shot at coming out of there. The Pistons are great, but I think they're beatable. Especially after what happened to them last year. And nobody on the Celtics has had notable playoff success (correct me if I'm wrong), so I'm not 100% sold on their championship chances either.
