I'm sorry about your dad's heart attack. It's great that he's recovered and can hopefully spend many happy years in retirement. Sounds to me like the two of you are close, just like I was with my dad. He's been gone since I was 18. I still think about him every day.
I hear you about the poker. I'm been totally abstaining from it since around the beginning of the year. I know it sucks to be out of action, but I can tell that you have your priorities where they should be.
