reposting this from during the week. rounding out the top 100, i must make an apology to bob dylan fans. i recognize he is a talented guy, i'm just not much for his music. i'm more of a tom waits fan. anyhow, i enjoyed making this list and sharing it with everyone. of course, i'm sure i missed a few along the way. but the...

Yeah, I wonder what would happen if the Saints played the Raiders.
ckdexterhaven:
Well, you don't have to be too down about the Raiders beating the Eagles.
I mean, they're not as bad as people in the football group like to say. The thing about the Raiders is, when they're bad, people come out of the woodwork to gleefully pile on them. It doesn't bug me at all, but it is pretty noticeable, isn't it?
welp. i found a job. i'm waiting for them to finish their background check so i can go take a drug test. for those of you who have followed my blog for the past two-three years, you know this is what i've been aiming for since i started culinary school in july, 2007. i have, technically, been unemployed since september, 2006. although i have enjoyed...

Congratulations to you e_e. It sounds like a great step forward for you and you are right, the hours sound excellent. I hope this provides you the peace of mind that has been missing for a while. Those sorts of worries can really weigh a person down.
I break open a bottle of chilled Sato no Hamare with you to celebrate.

Flavorful kosher cooking is a challenge... well, it was at my grandmother's house.
Some days I still wish I went to the Culinary Institute of America or Johnson & Wales, like I thought about in high school. Then I remember what it was actually like to work in the kitchen at the restuarant I worked in during my junior and senior year.
Thank khoos for the poker addiction. She's the one who taught me to play. I tend to dive head first into things that I enjoy, and find online support where I can. It has been great having the stories and advice of someone who has made a living playing poker. My account auto-renews, so I'm not sure when it actually expires. I believe it renews quarterly.

I always get lay and lie confused.
ALWAYS.
AND when I usually ask the morons around me which I should use they always tell me that they are interchangeable and I know that they're not!

played poker for the first time in four months last night. turned $154 into $254, then spent most of my profit on booze and food. the hooker at the bar tried to chisel $200 out of me. i had to laugh, she was not attractive.

Any improvement on the job front? How's the poker playing going?
wsoxfan:
That's quite a schedule. I commend you for being proactive about the job search.
Best of luck. I hope you find something soon.

i'm busy setting up a portfolio project for the commencement show on september 24th. it's like a concentrated job fair for each division of the art institute, there will be chefs from all over las vegas there. the problem is, nobody is hiring. as the unemployment rate approaches 10% nationwide, las vegas has scaled back to ridiculous skeleton status. the real estate market here is...

Good luck fucker! You never know may win a sat tourney and turn it into house and bills paid off! Im rooting for you..
do you think the free-credit report.com guys actually bicker about who gets more camera time on their commercials? i think the tall dude with the mullet feels like he is being held back by the little front man guy. and the italian-looking drummer is an artistic type who is just happy to make the income. just a quick thought.

While I agree with mydogfarted, I happen to like the guy who does the singing. I hope i'm thinking of the right commercial.

Oh lordy, the thought of me popping in on e-friends randomly & uninvited would send terror shockwaves up and down the coast. Heh. Afraid I'm a few states over and about 1500 miles east on the I-10. Hope you have fun though. How was the dim sum party?
pandara:
You must have defriended me. I would never defriend you. sheeesh...You must have ditched me in my time away cleaning house.

I may not be in love with some of these performers because it may not be my kind of music, but I can't deny the awesome talent that these artists possess.
