I am having a terrible, no good, very bad day.

Why?
I am PMSing out the wazoo so much that I was angry at my bearded buddy for the dumbest reason imaginable.
I can't get my mouth around words.
I want a cigarette.
I want more coffee.
I want a long walk.
I want my knee to stop hurting.
I think I want to go...

Apologies you shouldn't talk about anyone being a hippie, you're the one that's seen Phish 10 times and loves the Allman Bros.

Leave the cigarettes alone, you really won't feel any better if you have one. I've been cheating of lately and it makes me feel worse. frown

I hope you can convince him. They are great pets and don't bark that much and really are big couch potatos!
love kiss

I think one of the reasons why I love my bearded buddy is that he reminds me of Ron Perlman, who is super hott.

I love gorgeous weather.
I love wearing sandals in March.
I love not having to wear a coat in March.
I hate waking up twenty minutes before I have to be at work.
I hate coming into work with pillow tattoos all over my face.
I hate falling alseep in my clothes and sleeping in the same position all night and having my hips and...

Neuroanatomy is definitely not one of my strong suits, you probably know only slightly less about it than I do. smile Glad you enjoyed my entry though.

As for special effects movies... I think there's a time and a place for cinematic escapism. It shouldn't be the raison d'etre of film, but not every movie needs to be a deep contemplation on the meaning of existence. I have quite a collection of stupid movies that are fun to watch.

Did you get the e-mail I sent yesterday? I've been having HUGE problems with that e-mail account, it was deleting messages left and right, so hopefully you got that one.

i have very strong feelings too and i also loved league of XG

So, my best girlfriend just got laid off. And the terrible thing is, she's been looking for a new job for the past six months, and is flying to California this weekend (and just bought tickets and a hotel room) to see a friend's art show.

She hasn't found a new job yet - kinda hard on graphic artists these days - but she's confident...

I was suprised when I found out about rka too, but it's a good thing, she'll find something better for her and being out of town this weekend will keep her mind off that stuff too.

I'll be in Ohio Apr. 15-19. Causing a ruckus in D8N and in Cincy at the Forget Cassettes shows (you should try to come out to one of them; 16th Covington, 17th Dayton). I think Chrza and Marc will be at the Dayton one and I'm sure rka will come out too.

And i'm getting new ink. Undecided at this point of what it will be.

I should really not be a part of the Tattoo-ing group. All I do when I go in there and look at the new pictures and the posts, is want more art.

I have the exact ideas of the next two (or three - depending on whether you count chest pieces [like swallows] to be one or two pieces) pieces I want, I just have...

Really? A geek tattoo. That's cool, I can relate. smile

As for your... ahem... other situation. I got an e-mail from Gunhed the other day about it. I'm more than happy to help, but before I can I'll need to know some specifics so I can clue the staff in on the problem. You can send me a private e-mail if you'd rather not discuss it here. Suffice to say, based on what I've heard from other staff members, this isn't the first time this sort of things has happened.

1) My friend's tuna salad is better than your tuna salad!
2) I can eat apples again! Oh joy!
3) Emeril Lagasse is a dipshit.
4) When is it my turn to have bacon?
tygertyger:
Urg. Don't talka bout food. It's not nice to tease.
legionnaire:
Emeril Lagasse is a dipshit, no kidding. The man has no talent at all, he's just loud and brash and for some reason people like him. Oh well.

When is it gonna be MY turn to be Patti Smith?

On the topic of "Get me!!!" and being assaulted by books, my gf and I are now discussing the difference between identifying powerfully with a work of literature or having that work actually influence your life.

I could fill a library with the former. I can't think of a single one that would fall into the latter category. She thinks that powerfully identifying is enough.

Maybe I don't understand the question.

Which doesn't bode well. biggrin
superflea:
I read and enjoyed American Gods, but didn't find it life-altering, so I'm now very curious as to the experience you had with it. (This is, of course, very different from saying that I don't think it could be a life-altering read. After all, the only book that leaps to mind as being really personally profound to me is High Fidelity, and I'll be the first to admit that Proust, it ain't.)

I think I may enjoy books more after hearing how somebody else enjoyed it. It's like a guided tour through some aspects of the book that you might not have considered.

So tell tell tell!

I'm with ticktock.

We fiesty Canadians have our own brand of fast and effective diplomacy.

Failing that, there's a wood chipper every ten feet up here.

One way or another, problem solved. biggrin

(ps - there are new pics in my candids you might be interesting. one of them is really great with the skin discoloration on my left arm. i don't know what's causing it, but the yoga i was doing before the picture was taken only aggravated it further. fun, eh?)

I think I may have thrown up the first time I went to Korova milk bar as well. I went there as a recruit for Columbia, and they were paying for all the drinks. It got dangerous.

Hope you're feeling better. smile
boychucker:
Don't know if this will make you feel better, but I might be up in mid-April to see a Forget Cassettes when they play in Covington and Dayton (16th +17)

I'll let you know if I'm doing it though. biggrin
