sometimes, i catch myself (like i caught myself this evening out on the cold as ice porch) saying things like "i need khakis! i can't wait unitl april! i need khakis now!"

1) i am shocked by my need for khakis
2) i own other pairs of pants. there are some people in the world with one pair or less than one pair of pants, and i could probably donate one of my pairs of pants, or buy pants for those people
3) that might be along the same lines as sending my unfinished wendy's fries to some kid in africa, but i'm not doing that ... postage and all
4) and ants
5) and does anyone really need khakis? shoes, yes. i need more shoes. i don't need more jeans, i have one pair that fit me well, and that's all i'm buying. but khakis?
6) am i really as big a prep as this is making me sound?
7) no, i bought them from some place worse than the crap.

i would like them to show up now though.

you know what i need more than khakis?
i need a nice dinner out with my best friends, bullshitting, eating fries, stealing fries from other people, being silly, smoking cigarettes, and then closing the place down.

i need that.
i also need to feed my friend's cat.
