I've noticed, when it comes to anxiety, that there's a point where it just becomes too tight, like a guitar string. And then it snaps, and suddenly things, while fucked up, are suddenly worlds easier to deal with because the strain is gone. So, today was a good day, in that regard.

Today's deal in the music class was great. I love this class. Need to grab the text soon; the bookstore has been entirely too crowded for me, and I'm just now feeling alright, so the last thing I wanted was to fuck with the whole "recovery." Though the little old guy working door security made me smile.

Almost sure I'll hate the acting guy. Like, a lot. It's like he was genetically engineered to irritate me. He's one of those people who are convinced they're funny, so they fit their little "routines" into regular conversation. It's a little sad...especially when other people actually LAUGH when he says something so predictable and stupid. Gotta wonder about people. But this school is like nothing I've been to, in a ton of ways. I swear, it's like I made it up. Female faculty is, for the most part (based off all the ones I've seen/met so far), ridiculously pretty. Like, head-turning, completely shockingly attractive. That has never happened at any school I've ever been at. The costume designer is exactly what I always thought a female costume designer should look like, but had begun to believe they never could: dyed hair, big stomper boots, knee highs, crazy devilish look in the eyes --it's like this dream I had when I was fifteen. Really hope she isn't able to read this...that would be a bit odd...yet strangely awesome.

There's one guy in the acting class I think I can learn to despise quite easily. Keeps talking about this movie he's going to be filming in LA, "an independant film, it's amazing." He looks at me like I'm four rungs beneath him on the food chain, but then he looks at everyone like that, I've noticed. Dude's a douche. Got to hear how is favorite actor of all time "is now" Heath Ledger. He's one of those. And I have this sneaking suspicion this guy isn't even all that good of an actor, and look forward to his potential exposure. Man, I haven't been all pissed off at pretty boys since I was like thirteen. Feels so alien at this point. Dude's still a douche.

Oh, and I'm like 99% neighbor girl is in this class. More on this coming, likely.

Good night at the bar Saturday. I enjoy that one night a week, I've found, at least while I'm in the moment; it all depends on the company and the liquor, I guess. I'll be back sometime this week.
