I think I'm watching "True Life: I'm a Stupid Whore." Not sure.

SO glad to be home. It's finally over. I miss reality; time kinda stops at the lake.

I have a toy parrot that records things and sings and generally is obnoxious. By the end of the week, I will make sure it knows "Straight Outta Compton," and various phrases that I know will end up being said at the wrong moment.

I think I...well, okay, I'm not quite sure of how to word it. Well, I am, but the only words I can use I either hate or feel overstate the situation. Things are good. Good good good.

The city of Lakeport is such a weird place. Seemed like lots of rude people, and a lot of just weird bastards. The new bar is neat, though. That about covers it.

Man...I think I'm in trouble. Har.

Anyway, yeah, I think the Christmas spirit hit me in part. i've been thinking a lot about what that actually means, because until a few hours ago I've not been able to do a whole lot else. The point is to feel good the whole year, to be a good person in spite of your faults and help those you can when you're able to while keeping expectations both lofty and realistic just enough. I think I just dislike the thought process a lot of people have where they "have" to be a good person, instead of actually BEING one the rest of the time. I'm not making sense, I don't think.

I can't believe last night was...last night. Seems like it was weeks, months ago. Fuck.

I've got roughly three different varying ideas to make it to the New Years party I want to go to. Writing that made me think of "Detroit Rock City," for some reason. The answer is, as usual, Natasha Lyonne.
