Wasted the day. Sundays just go that way. This weekend, though, was exactly what I needed.

I love those I care about. I try to be a good friend, a good person. Only a couple people anymore know me as I am, for better or worse. It's scary. But life's scary, innit?

I've recently gotten back into Regina Spektor. Her early, underproduced stuff, mostly. Got into that first. Really good. And her last album is one of the best records I've got, personally. Just something about it. Could do without it in so many commercials, but whatever. It's amazing to have been on an artists bandwagon before they even had one. Makes one feel special. Russians rule.

Spent hours writing downtown yesterday. Hadn't done anyhting that since Mendo. I think I ended up drunk for the first time a while, definitely after the others showed. Regardless, it was an amazing day. Better than it had any right to be.

Will hate this in the morning. Ambien is kicking in for the last time. End of an era, folks. This doesn't work, it's war.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Birthday is Friday. Getting nervous. I'll end up seeing several, i'm sure. And I'm sorry I'm not the best at communication sometimes. Working on it.

I hate writing this shit. Watch me replace it tomorrow.
