Going to the lake pretty soon. A trip of necessity.

Watched "Rushmore." Been FAR too long. Made me feel a way i haven't felt in years, but smarter. Weird how that works. Regardless, it made me think about how far i've come since i first saw it, write someone best left unwritten (who as of this writing has not written back), & made me nostalgiac for the brief time things went well when i was a teenager. And the montage of Blume & Max fucking with each other to the sound of "A Quick One, While He's Away" by the Who is maybe my favorite part of any movie ever made.

Giant Arab Guy hasn't been seen since. I was up until six this morning, didn't see him leave. It's funny now, but still a weird mental trip. You know how sometimes you expect something & see the opposite, resulting in you being caught offguard? It was one of those moments.

Love is weird. Another thing that movie made me think of. I think i might know what i'm looking for. At least most of what i'm looking for. It's strange.

"100 Greatest Teen Stars," but no Traci Lords? Oh come on.
