At what point does something become unattainable? Does any amount of positivity or foreward thinking make it actually possible to get? Been seriously debating this question on several fronts lately. I mean, i think i understand things a LOT better than i did at one point, but...how far can you go with it? Or rather, how far can it go with you? I've been thinking about this far, far too much. Heat & insomnia will do that.

By the way, it was 95 in the apartment today, which i hereby dub as "comfortable." I actually got some sleep. It was amazing. The dreams made little sense, but it wasn't like i was expecting anything especially profound. But it was actual sleep, not a short nap until the heat wakes you up so you move into another room, only for it to repeat.

I think i'm physically falling apart. Won't get into how, but i should probably see a doctor one of these days.

Fall Out Boy officially make the stupidest videos going. They also are very unattractive. The singer looks like a leprachaun. The rest of them just look like they need an asskicking. They aren't the death rattle of rock n roll, by any means, but they're the soundtrack to a joke no one will get for five years. Fuck these guys & their fucking video with monkeys.

Hope gives way to belief, which gives way to desire, which sets the stage for disappointment or for happiness, depending on how things work. Now, the thought process lately is that positivity attracts positivity, so things always work as it should because you believe it will. This should, in theory, abolish disappointment, & make only the happy things happen. This ties into the unattainable part. I don't understand how something can BE unattainable with this thought process, but at the same time it IS because...well, it just is, beyond your control. Ugh. I know what i want, for the first time in a while, & now that i know how to get it, it feels like i'm stalled. Not giving up, but just irritated that i don't know how to make that jump, i guess. Or if there's anything to jump to.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done...right?

Later.
