I need to get out. May is never one of my months (big things, often negative, happen in May), but fuck, it's too nice out to sit in here. This time of year makes me the most nostalgiac. That time before school gets out, but it clearly is summer in climate & it makes things much easier to take. Summer of '98 is the one i remember most, just because i was twelve & was hell bent on winning the heart of the girl next door, which might have worked had her dad not shot that gun that one time. But the FEELING. It reeks of hope, of postivity. It's amazing how for a few weeks a year, at most, i feel better about almost everything. Nostalgia is a fun drug.

It's bad enough being the last to know something. It's worse when you're the last to know something about yourself. In this particular case, it isn't a negative, just a bit strange that others really can know me better than I do. I'm lucky for the people I have, because without them I'd be stuck internally debating far more than is reccommended.

I sincerely apologize for my lack of commenting on others blogs, by the way. I don't know who reads this with any regularity, but i'm sorry i suck.

Got bored yesterday, played with the inDemand thing for some free movies. Watched "The Dentist" with Corbin Bernsen. I mean, yeah, i know how it sounds, but when a movie is rated R for "graphic dental torture" I get intrigued. It was pretty stupid, also a little sad seeing a former potenial big name like Bernsen yank out rubber teeth in a comically ultraviolent way. About the time he killed his entire staff, the pool guy, & maybe his wife, without the cops putting anything together until just in time, i lost interest. As a lover of bad horror, though, I found it a pleasant experience overall. For free.

So yeah, I've got little to say. I'm just in a really good mood (which is ironically making me anxious, although odds are good it's more financial than emotional). If I were someone else, I'd want to kick my ass. That good a mood. If anyone at all wants to go out, do whatever, wherever, PLEASE let me know. It's too good a time to be stuck in here.
