so i've been on this secret mission to get a glance at the girl the boy i like kept fooling around with for over a year while she continually ripped his heart out and stomped on it.

two of my very best friends work with him (and her...), and i paid them a visit to "just say hello" and get some food. one of my friends promised to point her out to me, but left before she got the chance.

so i pulled the other one aside and demanded that she show me who she was.

her response?

friend: "wait a minute! don't you remember _________'s party?"

me: "yeah! you mean she was there and i didn't even see her?! sneaky little..."

friends: "no, you MET her!"

me: "I did?!?!?"

friend: "yeah! remember that girl you were hanging out with and dancing with? the one whose boyfriend had the absinthe you wanted to try so badly? that was her! i tried to tell you, but you didn't seem to get it..."

me: *blank stare*


so i was basically informed that not only did i basically dry fuck this chick while dancing with her, i actually thought she was pretty cool, despite the fact that she was drunk and i wasn't...

...i'm going to be laughing at this scenario for at least a week...
