One of my main work pet peeves is people coming into work who are ill, grrrr why do you do it people? Do you have the overwhelming urge to spread your germs and make everyone around you feel as rubbish as you do or do you want everyone to feel sorry for you?
I feel really guilty if I have to have a sick day, but it has to be done - you're less productive and you don't give your body time to heal. Also the world will not end if you have a day off.
This peeve flaired up yesterday when one of my co-workers came in and was really poorly sick, she refused to go home and has now passed it on to another lady at work. Luckily sick lady no 1 has wisely taken the today off and sick lady no 2 finishes work at 11.30 and has assured me that she's going to take some meds and go to bed.
