why hello ma'am s!
greetings from Afghanistan. hope everybody had a good holiday weekend. i made the best out of a bad situation
bad situation: stuck in a transient tent at Kandahar airfield.
so i slept..all day..even through a rocket attack, (which has become not a big deal to me anymore since my first week at this place was nothing but rocket attacks and haven't been fortunate enough to have one land ANYWHERE near me, so i shrug them off like its nothing.) so i just rolled over and went back to sleep.
The reason I'm at this place called KAF, is because this is where i, on outgoing, picked up my flight to Kuwait, and now its where i get my chopper ride back to my regular base. everything is coordinated by our battalion staff which i don't think on their best day could even make a paper football, i have no idea how we even made it out. course we were here 5 days waiting..And Ive been here for close to 4 now with a maybe we can get you a flight out tomorrow kind of story. ugh i don't mind it really but im here in a big ass transient tent that random people are in and out of dont care about so its somewhat trashes and smells like ass oh and i'm pretty much sleeping on a blown out spring mattress, but it could be worse i guess.
oh but it is cause you see KAF has a shit pond..and not like the rest of the bases where its underground and outside of the fences, NO its a open flowing circulated shit pond and its the center of this base..it smells so bad and i dont even know how this place even is allowed to function with it. i stay in the tent lol
anyways i just wanna get back to my regular bed on my regular base and see the rest of my buddies, its bad enough i was dating a girl in my plt and when we both went home on leave she fuckin left my ass. and what REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS(family guy lovers) is she waited till the end our our 15 days home to drop it on my..rather than the beginning and i could have been out at least getting laid once. now i'm still holding no sex since 4th of july..damn girls sometimes. i had plenty of options while i was home and we were fighting but i'm one of the few guys out there who remains faithful until its official. but FUCK her and her infidelity i'm over it..shes missing out on a great thing..one day she'll realize .
this has been a sad blog so far i dont like it but i like expressing it.makes me feel better
