Living in London hasnt exactly been easy for the last ten days.

The day of the bombing there were tears, shock, fear, loss and a 2 hour walk home in the pouring rain.

On Wednesday I had to walk to work again because my tube line was closed.

The bombers families have been left humiliated and devastated to learn their sons are responsible for mass murder. Obviously these young men didnt care enough about their own parents to worry what would become of them as a result of thier actions.

I got stuck behind crime scene tape on my way home last night cos the bomb disposal squad were busy blowing up a suspicious package.

But Londoners, and all our overseas visitors have handled everything with amazing stoicism and defiance. The streets are packed with people of all colours, nationalities and faiths, pretty much the way London has always been.

So in the admittedly unlikely event that any terrorist organisations are actually reading this here's what I and probably the rest of Britain would like to say to you:

PS: Bateman vetted this photo so it's all entirely his fault. tongue biggrin

Sounds tough - but so glad you are (and Britain is as a country) made of stronger stuff - I feel so bad for the families - they are the ones who suffer - the families of the bombers, and the families of the injured and dead... they all suffer for the actions of those few idiots who think they are sending a message of terror.

Hope all is well.
