it's friday morning, well ok, in normal standards it's actually early afternoon but i just got up 45 mins ago so i'm still considering it my morning. it's another perfectly dreary day here in edmonton, it's nice. yesterday it poured all day, and i mean that, since being in this apartment i haven't had the opportunity to hear the rain hit against my bedroom window, well yesterday, it pounded. the whole week has been rather dark and dreary, cold and wet. i like it. Ok, my building is right next to a safeway and last night in the parking lot there was a puddle, well ok it was a pool, and the water was high enough that it was almost reaching the tops of tires of trucks while they just stood still. nice huh? so today will be spent in another lazyily type fashion, drinking tea, finishing my book (Son of a Witch by Gregory MaGuire... it's the second to Wicked and it's soo soo good), watching old horror movies and chickflicks, and baking. Cranberry muffins would be good, plus i've never made them and i love a challenge. hehe. SO i think i'm gonna decide on what i need from the grocery store and listen to the temptations while i do it. laterz ~hugz~
