in other, less pressing news:
in my never-ending and obsessive compulsion to sample every band/artist to ever exist on this planet, i am now in search of good liz phair songs due to the recommendation of her by madwill, as well as good oingo boingo songs due to their recommendation by kestrel. Thus far i have downloaded Fuck and Run by liz, and Stay by oingo. Stay sounded sort of like i expected Oingo Boingo to sound like, but somehow was still pretty cool. The incessant 80's music on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City must have gotten to me. In fact, both are much better than i expected, considering i generally am not a fan of 80's bands, nor of the women who succeed in music due to marketing of sex appeal (disclaimer: im not saying liz phair has done that, only that the more attractive the woman the more likely it is in general, and lets face it, liz is rawr

so anyways, anyone who has specific song recommendations from these two, drop them by.
also, additional bands are, as always, welcome as well.
