Ooh child
Things are gonna get easier
Ooh child
Things'll get brighter
Some day, yeah
We'll get it together and we'll get it all done
Some day
When your head is much lighter
Some day, yeah
We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun
Some day
When the world is much brighter
Ooh child
Things are gonna be easier

We'll get it together and we'll get it all done

~~~a little Five Stairsteps for a slushy monday AM. At least this way I'll maybe smile when I look out my window and contemplate crappola weather and the hinky week that looms. Our majorly cool baseball related arbitration is teed up for Mid-May through June. However, some of the out-of-state witnesses will testify sooner by videotape. One of them will be coming up soon so the next week or so will be a nice fun preview of the legwork that is to come. Still, once I get into something and get a little positive feedback, I'll go to the wall for a case and be happy about it. I really am just a Simple, Simple Man. I need a little stroking every once in a while and I'll just be apeshit loyal and happy shiny. If its true that folk are somewhere along the canine-feline spectrum, I am a big ole slobbery Marmaduke. So, anyway, I'm working late tonight, trying to come up with some brilliant questions for one of our witnesses. I sure like working late at night. Pity it's not hot though, I like to sweat when I work -- with the windows wide and the city air slapping me in the face like wet bread.
Anyway, I'm wishing you all fantastic weeks from here, since I imagine I'll be keeping very irregular hours for a good while. Check out the Five Stairsteps. I got it on Soul Hits of 70s: Didn't Blow Your Mind, which also features Rock the Boat by the Hues Corporation. Man between this and daily dylan, I feel more like a dj than a writer here
