Yeah I know I don't update worth a shit. But this time I actually put up some new pics as well. What's the occasion?.
Well for one thing I have a decent camera now and can actually upload pics. I just have to figure out how to make them a little bigger.
And B, I got a new kilt! I know some will say BFD, but for me it's a big thing. My family in Scotland is very big on heritage and worry that I'm not passing down to my daughter. Every Saturday night is heritage night for them, which means dressing in yor good kilt (as opposed to the formal kilt, which is worn for weddings, funerals, other special occasions) and goin' round the pub and getting piss drunk with yor mates. Now when I visit them, I of course partake in family (and regional) tradition whole heartedly. If I wore my kilt in public around here on Saturdays (or any other day of the week for that matter), I would probably get my ass wholely kicked. Not a lot of understanding of these things in this area and too many morons lookin for any reason to start shyte.
Well, I pulled out my old kilt at halloween to wear as part of a costume this year and found it pretty moth eaten. Well the folks in Scotland were not to happy to hear this, so my dear aunt and lass cousins sent me, and my daughter, new gear. All in clan tartan and full tup (sashes, bonnets, etc). Well it's Friday, but the hell with it, I'm wearin my damn kilt. And if I'm feeling brave tomorrow night, I'm might go round the pub in my kilt and get pissed. We'll see.
TV critique for this week: Ghost Whisper suck. Though the chick is rather easy on the eyes, the rest of the show is dredge.
