Oi! Mr Prime Minister.... Andy!.... Ah Simpsons reference... But really... Mr Abbott... This message is for you... From us... Country Wide.

This part of a speech was from the Greens Senator in Western Australia a few days ago in Parliament. It's addressed to our current Prime Minister Tony Abbott, who is the worst excuse for a human being. He is like Mr Murdoch, who exiled

Hi people!

So hubby and I are playing South Park - The Stick Of Truth, and we are loving it. It really is a great game. I always enjoyed the TV series, and was pretty excited to get playing. I upload videos to YouTube of games I play and thought I would post the first episode of South Park here. I am really self conscious...

I'm working through a few things at the moment, and there is one aspect of my life that emotionally I am focused on. I am struggling with some anxiety issues and I have been looking into Meditation practices, Yoga and also some Mantras to see if there can be benefit to them for this. I am generally quite a spiritual person (universal, not specific religious

Thank you @richardmunn for your words.  I will definitely be having a look into Peter Levine, as I know that some of these anxiety issues seem to arise from a particular traumatic moment.  I have previously practised meditation (and briefly yoga), but am finding it difficult to re engage at the moment. I will be sure to keep posting updates on how I am going!  Thank you again.  :)

The last few weeks have been a bit rough health wise, and to be honest gave me a real scare. I go back Tuesday for final results as I had an Echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) last Friday. So far, it's not an overactive Thyroid which is good news. I am getting ectopic beats (unsure as to why) and the beta blocker medication seems to...

tamsyd:
Thank you @teddykev, I am quite happy with myself so far!  I am trying to get myself back into regular reflections and meditation to help me through a few things at the moment.  I am very lucky to be in such a wonderful relationship.  Thank you for the kind words!  :)

Following my blog yesterday and a great suggestion from @almost_missed, I thought I would share some photos of our food garden. They have been taken over the past year, I will have to get some more updated pictures and post another time.

We have been growing throughout the year:

Lettuce (Variety), Spinach, Kale, Tomatoes, Capsicums, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Pumpkin, Beans, Snow Peas, Spring Onion, Leek, Carrots,...

Thanks @elkcrazy32, it's a great feeling to share a part of ourselves in a supportive and loving environment.  There is a real feeling of community here, no matter how far apart we physically are.  :)

So the last few days I have been conversing deep within and asking myself a few questions.

One question that keeps coming to the forefront for me is... What am I truly passionate about? Is there something in my life I do that brings me endless joy? There is one thing, and I am trying to work out if there is a way to do

Well, I am 12 days cigarette free and I must say I am doing better than I thought I would! I guess being unwell when starting helps as I was focused on getting better rather than having a cigarette. Now that I am feeling much better, I'm getting the occasional craving. Nothing terrible, but there are moments where I walk outside to gorgeous sunshine and...

12 days is awesome, stay strong
tamsyd:
Thanks @almost_missed and @joelyboy32!  Still going strong, taking it as it comes.  The only way I can do it at the moment, no patches/gum/anything either.  I'm catching up with my bestie this week and she is a smoker, but I'm relaxing about it.  She knows where I am at and is supportive so all should be good!  Xxx
