Following my blog yesterday and a great suggestion from @almost_missed, I thought I would share some photos of our food garden. They have been taken over the past year, I will have to get some more updated pictures and post another time.

We have been growing throughout the year:

Lettuce (Variety), Spinach, Kale, Tomatoes, Capsicums, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Pumpkin, Beans, Snow Peas, Spring Onion, Leek, Carrots,...

Thanks @elkcrazy32, it's a great feeling to share a part of ourselves in a supportive and loving environment.  There is a real feeling of community here, no matter how far apart we physically are.  :)

I agree 100% @tamsyd that's why i keep coming back!

So the last few days I have been conversing deep within and asking myself a few questions.

One question that keeps coming to the forefront for me is... What am I truly passionate about? Is there something in my life I do that brings me endless joy? There is one thing, and I am trying to work out if there is a way to do

Well, I am 12 days cigarette free and I must say I am doing better than I thought I would! I guess being unwell when starting helps as I was focused on getting better rather than having a cigarette. Now that I am feeling much better, I'm getting the occasional craving. Nothing terrible, but there are moments where I walk outside to gorgeous sunshine and...

12 days is awesome, stay strong
tamsyd:
Thanks @almost_missed and @joelyboy32!  Still going strong, taking it as it comes.  The only way I can do it at the moment, no patches/gum/anything either.  I'm catching up with my bestie this week and she is a smoker, but I'm relaxing about it.  She knows where I am at and is supportive so all should be good!  Xxx

Well, I went back to my GP after spending Saturday morning in ED to follow up the results. The Halter showed I had many extra (ectopic) beats over that 24 hour period - so I was glad they could see that and I ain't nuts!

The Thyroid results weren't in with the GP today so I am waiting for my Dr to call me with...

Since working Sunday night shift I have been unwell - and quite frankly it's scared the crap out of me. About 7.30am Monday morning (just before finishing work), I started to get what felt like a 'thud' in my chest and it was like i had to catch my breath when it was happening. Trying to keep cool, I went home and thought I could...

They're perfect for keeping you awake if you haven't had them in a while. Had a job with 3 am starts and used them because I was a zombie most of the time.
tamsyd:
They used to work a treat but after a while I was drinking way too many a day to get through.  They almost became a soft drink.  I stopped having them and this was the first after almost 6 months.  Working midnight till 8 aren't bad hours, but I was on my 3rd night of 4 and was feeling it.  Working the odd hours does crazy stuff to your body and mind!  I do enjoy it more than your typical Monday-Friday 9 to 5 stuff though.  :)

So glad to be home and ready for bed. It was a crazy busy night shift at work and tonight is going to be worse with it being a National Public Holiday (Australia Day). There will be drunks, assaults and a whole lot more I'm guessing. Here's hoping for a nice long sleep today!

Now to contend for a spot (as our puppies take over

Thanks! They are adorable and terribly spoilt, but we love them! I've missed out on the celebrations sleeping all day, but I'm sure I'll see some before I head to work tonight.  :)

Listen. Good for you on making the decision to become a hopeful. Takes courage as pics will forever be out there, and don't get me wrong, I admire you for doing it. However...

I think suicidegirls represent a classic pinup girl of a past era. Look at how things have changed, kardashians and Pamela Anderson got famous from making a porn movie, mtv shows like the valleys and jersey shore are viewed by 10 year olds. Porn is free on the internet and accessed by all ages.  Suicide girls being an adult site has been influenced and also the quality control seems to have gone out the window. I love the community but there's some real desperation going on around here amongst some of the girls to be pink.
tamsyd:
Fantastic point made, that seems to be what has been happening.  I haven't been around here a long time, but I do remember forums and articles/blogs readily accessible from the news feed.  At the moment it seems that all I see on my feeds are nudie pics and requests for love from hopefuls everywhere, rather than lots from people I follow, as I follow them to keep updated on what's happening with them!  :)
