Summer! Bike rides and river swims, U-pick farms, and the restaurant courtyard where I work constantly full of foamy beer pitchers and the drinkers of them.
In other news, nothing has settled down. I'm applying to grad schools across the country and beyond, and unsure of where to live in the meantime. Perhaps back to New York, like a yo-yo. The boy may follow or he may not! At no point in my life has everything been so up-in-the-air.
At least I finally tackled the GREs, OK in math, and in Verbal 98th percentile, which means better than 98% of the folks who took the test. Now I can start shaking all those superfluous words out of my brain and try to fill it back up with all the real-world wisdom there wasn't room for while I was studying. Although filling your brain with vocabulary and test-taking techniques is much easier.
But who needs wisdom when they have rivers.
