Apocalypse, now.

I photographed this depiction of Christ last night at a bizzare (at least to me) Los Angeles church known as the Superet Light Center. The religion/doctrine/denomination/cult was evidently founded in 1926 by Dr. Josephine De Croix Trust who discovered the "Superet Atom Aura Science."

Here's little excerpt from a website about Superet:

"We are the Brotherhood for Mankind of Light, in Heaven and on earth. We want to acquaint you with our scientific, or Jesus' Light Doctrine, which was found from the Bible of Jesus' Words' Light.

"For we all believe -- not only that Jesus Christ was and is the Son of God -- but that He is all Light, and brought to us His God of Light with His Light Laws, and how we all can earn His Light if we follow His Light Laws!

"The Light Scientist, Dr. J.C. Trust, the Founder, with the Charter granted of the U.S.A. in the year of 1926, with thousands of healings, now explains Jesus' Light Science of the scientific study of Light, and planets; and also of the nature Atom's Light, which led to the study of the Bible Light.

"This true study that Jesus' Words were shining with and in a brilliancy of golden and purple Light, was greater, and had more Light than any other words in the Bible."

This just might be where people will come to worship after the nuclear fallout.
