Day three of unemployment and it's time to get stoked! Gonna head out and try to surf some waves for the first time in my life. I don't think they'll be quite as big as the wave in my profile pic.
I never took up skateboarding beyond the 2 or 3 days I tried when I was probably about 10. I discovered quickly that concrete is an unforgiving instructor and that was the end of that. Same goes for rollerskating, rollerblading, or ice skating.
Even if I get a few gallons of water up the schnozz, at least it won't be pavement.
Update: I just saw one of the best fucking shows in my life, at The Viper Room, a la The Dresden Dolls! This keyboard/drummer duo, self-drescribed as Brechtian Punk Cabaret was simply beyond words. You can't possibly imagine how much sound these two musicians occupy at once. I HIGHLY recommend you check them out!

More boredom than anything else! Clovesy went and passed out on me at fucking 9 o'clock tonight! It's been a terriblely draining week at work for him so I was impressed he made it as far as he did into his gigantor Stone I.P.A. beer bottles.
