Day two of unemployment. Kinda weird because I've never been unvoluntarily unemployed, but I'm gonna make the best of this time off.
Tomorrow, I'm going lap swimming and going to the movies... in the middle of the damn day, dammit! Thursday, gonna take surfing lessons with Bpd. I've lived in California for 24 years and I've never tried surfing in my life. This is gonna rock.
Completely off the subject but I find it ironic that my conservative religious upbringing (Baptist) was the perfect medium for me to really get interested in Buddhism. This all started simply because I was so stressed out that a friend recommended I take up meditation, just to become normal again. I've only started learning about both, but so far so good.

I seriously got obsessed with that Raiders of the Lost Ark cartridge when it came out. There was something utterly lame, yet strangely compelling about it. Like those channels late at night that only sell loose gems.
