Erin (my girlfriend) just got fired from her job. Over the goddamn phone, six days before Christmas. Merry fucking Christmas.
I'm glad though, because it's a shitty company. She was never paid well and treated poorly and was already looking for another job.
But this really fucks things up for the holidays. I'm supposed to get a nice Christmas bonus but obviously all that money will be going toward paying bills instead of taking her on a short weekend vacation.

Totally a good time to quit smoking, because you're all angry at the man and stuff...just think about how the man wants you to smoke his cancer sticks, pay for your own coffin and subsedize his palatial home in the Hollywood Hills...I have whittled my cig consumption over the last twelve years down to three or four a day, and I think that's about as low as I'll go for now.
