I've been down of late; work has been exceedingly difficult.
But I have, perhaps, the most amazing girlfriend in the world.
She asks me what she could make for dinner to make me feel better. Reflexively, I say I'd like pot roast; it just popped into my head. I haven't had pot roast in years.
WhenI arrive home, I'm greeted by a feast of pot roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans.

along with all the tropical disease inoculation...felt like a damn pin cushion after that first day or pre-deployment preps. and they took my blood 3 times.
to be honest...other feeling a bit under the weather, I didn't notice too much from it.
it was a while before I had taken ALL the shots in the series though.
