One car battery, one 140W DC/AC inverter, and one PB 1400cs/166 later, I'm back online for a few minutes.
No work, no stores, mild traffic--I'm bored. But such is this blackout. No Luna tonight, I bet.
On a side note, the Marathon on Wixom Rd across from the Ford plant had a line that stretched back to 96 (about a mile). Four pumps to service a mile of cars. Weird. Looked like the pictures from the oil embargoes of the mid-70s.

Well, the power's back here in Wixom. Yay! Time to see if there are any grocery stores having a "damaged goods" (namely ice cream) sale.
