okay, ranting, sorry got to do it.
i am so aggrivated by the news
sometimes i wonder why i even watch it anymore, but i don't want to be ignorant to the world, even when the world just drives me insane.
1. the war in iraq, we're trying to put up a government for them, and we want pro American leaders, well of course, but that's not what they want. we went over there to "help them, give them freedom" well doesn't that mean they should have the freedom to appoint who they want? why doesn't the gov. just step up and say "look, we want to control Iraq so that we can Americanize it, help destroy terrorism, and get OIL" of course they'll never say it. they want iraq to become anytown-al jazhere, USA. the death of more culture.
2. Global warming. people say it's not even real, are you kidding me?! all the scientific facts point to its existance. they're saying that the northern pass isn't going to be ICE anymore, it's going to be gone in less than a 100 years! that's insane, people live there, and they're going to lose their home, their way of life.
3. Obesity. my god we're so fucking lazy we're all becoming fat, and it makes me sick. it's an epidemic. you go to a grocery store, and i swear it's like 5% real food, 95% chemical fake food. the damn fast food industry is making all these salads because they keep getting sued, and i dunno i'm happy they're trying to make healthy food choices, but sickened cause i know they're just doing it to save their own asses, and reap the benefits of an Atkins obsessed nation.
... don't even get me started on Atkins.
there's so much more, but i think i'm just going to pass out from all the propaganda in the half hour network news cast i just saw.
