Yawn. Had an interview today. Not that it matters too much, seeing as I already have a job secured, but if I get it I will be able to keep busy until the restaurant opens and make some extra cash. Although, quite frankly, until then I am more than content working for my mother at her rental house. Today I spent 2 hours pulling up staples from a painted wooden floor. Oh yes, it was so much fun. (Actually it was because I love spending time with my mom.) I'll probably be going over again tomorrow after school to do another room. *sigh* I want to buy fabric so bad. It hurts. The reason is because everything in this house was given to me by my grandmother when she moved to Florida (don't get this crazy idea in your head that my grandma is an old white-haired lady, btw. Imagine her and my grandfather as this crazy old couple who loves to drink and will never in a million years act or look their age. Quite frankly, they will always look like a dashing sailor and his beautiful bride. And they're funny too.) So all of my furniture is very..antique...which doesn't really work with this whole simple modern/futuristic look I'm going for. Ah well.

Sounds like you are into a pretty cool little project there.
