I went to my friend's wedding on Saturday. Melissa and Kayla finally got married!
I was driving down with My friend Chris and his Fiancée(also my friend) Ashley. We headed out on an hour and a half drive down to the fish and game club they were having it at. We got there at Noon time. Little did we know the wedding wasn't until 5 and we came early to help set up. Fun.
Chris was outside setting up chairs while Me and Ashley set up tables and finished making the centerpieces. You'd think the centerpieces would be done weeks ago but what do I know. It was fun to do though. Now Ashley and Myself want to start a catering business. I think it could be fun.
Chris was in the wedding party, so, he was missing a lot of the time. Last minute before the ceremony Ashley and I were put in charge of the music. I don't know about her but I felt honored. Ashley and I made a new friend too. James who goes by Guy. Cool kid. I say kid because he's 17 I have 9 years on him...I guess I'm getting old. Guy hung out with us all day. He reminded me of myself when I was that age. Shy at first but around the right people opens up easily. I'm way out of my shy stage. I just bought a unicorn hat and wore it through a hotel. Not something 17 year old Josh would of done. Oh, and if you thought I was kidding...
The food was excellent. Chris and Melissa's mom made a lot of it. Their mom isn't a fan of me, but, she can cook. Surprisingly she was nice to me. My goal is to make her like me. She really has no reason to dislike me.
I had a great night. Here's some random things:
During set up Melissa's cousin said I needed a haircut and snipped invisible hair from my bald head.
Later the same cousin asked if he could rub my head for luck. Of course I let him. Funny kid.
I got to see my friend Dani (also my sister's ex gf) it was good to see her since we lost touch after her and my sis broke up.
I gave the bartender shit when they didn't have cherries for my sprite and she said they don't stock them because they usually don't have "That type of customers" What the hell is that supposed to mean? I should of known that someone who works at a gun club would be closed minded. Lady, cherries are a must for bars. I don't care where it is.
Somebody not related to me said I look good dressed up. I guess that means it's true. Can you say boosted confidence?
Oh and Ashley dropped a few "cupcakes". Her code word for when I'm being checked out or I was getting flirted with. I'm still a stupid boy sometimes. haha. She's a good wing woman. Seriously better than any guy. She always says she'd set me up with one of her friends if they weren't all lesbians or horrible girlfriends. I don't like dating friends of friends anyways. Something always goes wrong.
