My weekend:
Friday: Meeting with my old RPG-buddies directly after work. It was nice to see them all again, with some it had been a while. I even got a belated birthday-present from them; a bottle of the finest Scotch whisky (15 year old Bowmore Mariner) and a nice matching pewter bottle.
Saturday: Danielas birthday-party. Daniela made some lovely and very tasty munchies and we had lots of champagne and red whine and beer and some golden Tequila My place was a bit crowded with ten people in it, but it was comfy nonetheless. It was very interesting for me to get to know some of her friends I didnt have the pleasure of meeting before. They are all good people and fun to hang out with. At 12 oclock Daniela finally got to open the presents (she was really curious about what shed get). After that, we changed location to a local disco and danced till early morning.
Sunday: I stood up at about ten and did away with all the chaos that was left over after the party. A little later Daniela came to help and after wed finished cleaning my room we went to her place to wait for her parents and her little brother. They had planned to meet with her and her boyfriend (whom they hadnt met so far) for dinner. I was a little embarrassed but also a little proud when I was invited to come along. We went to a restaurant that serves good old Westphalian food and a very interesting talk evolved.

Monday I went to work at half past seven just like every day but didnt go home in the evening but had to stay till this morning as I had to do my fist overnight standby-service. Everything went quite smoothly and I even got some sleep. Nonetheless I decided to take today off, which is the payment for standby-service. The weather was awful, so I spent the day mostly indoors reading and surfing the internet. Recreation time!
