Time for an update, I think.
My parents visited me on Friday. They were so nice to by me a new bike so I dont feel amputated any more. They also bought me a suit for the oral-exam this month. Now I just have to give the right answers to the questions and Ill pass. Sounds easy, doesnt it?
Friday and Saturday nights were great, too: Coming together with friends, going to parties, too much smoking and alcohol and great sex. Two nights with 3h sleep each.
Today I went to the students office at my university to find out which clinics Im supposed to work at for the next year. Great thing is: Im not listed! I applied a few months ago just before the official deadline. The woman in charge of applications wasnt there that day (though it was during her official office-hours) and so I handed the application over to some secretary who put it in her in-box. I really dont know whats gone wrong this time. Theres a whole bunch of overpaid incompetent monkeys working at that office! Darn! And I cant find out whether theres any way to fix that problem or not because the nice lady in charge is away to Mallorca for the next three weeks!
So, I try to concentrate (despite the unbearable heat) on learning for my exam. I cannot do anything else right now. I just hope problems (not only those I mentioned above) wont eat me up. I cannot deal with that right now.
In other news; I orderd DSL, so in just a few weeks I'll finally have a fast connection and no monetary reason to be offline so much. That'll be just great. I just hope nobody stole the application-form.

Oh my! I'm glad I left Germany in April then! It was quite pleasant then, but it sounds worse than Arizona in August right now! Make a swamp fan. They work.
