Dude exactly. I try and only send friend requests to people that I actually consider friends (and I have friends requests disabled). Basically, if someone was to ask "hey man. I'm way low on cash this week. You think you could spot me $50 er so until Friday when I get paid?" and my response is "Sorry dude. I just don't know you well enough." I wouldn't add them onto my friends list.
