Happy St. Patrick's Day, all of you in SG land!
I'm Scottish, not Irish, but all of us of the Celtic persuasion feel a little ownership of the holiday. Well, it's not much of a holiday -- just an excuse to get drunk and have parades. I usually get a little vexed when people see me wearing a kilt and ask "What are you, Irish or something?" But today, what with the bagpipes in the parades in Boston and Savannah, I am inclined to be a little more indulgent. Scottish, Irish, we're all hard-drinking people battling English oppression. So, Erin go braugh, I say.
Just be careful of the green beer.
