Tomorrow morning, I'll be on my way to Newark, NJ. This weekend's trip will be a VERY quick one: two full days to see people I'd missed on previous NYC area visits and a rare occasion to get my nuclear family all together. This may be the last time for a while since, at this time next year (presumably), my parents will be living in...

did you get your present yet? biggrin
jorryn:
I hope that you had an amazing holiday spent with loved ones.

Winter break is sweet indeed. I've been spending limited time around a computer and oodles of time laying around in underwear watching tv. lol.

It truly was a slaughter last night, but they did beat them earlier in the week. Last night they apparently reverted back to their old ways and forgot how to play hockey.

I find I am hit or miss with Mexico. I'm still trying to find the right place that isn't too touristy. So far a little place south of Puerto Vallarta has worked out best for me.

The folks at United probably saw that pink shirt in your luggage and burned your shit up as a favor. Pink shirts burn great when covered in jet fuel.

Merry Christmas from UA!!

I still haven't done the food shopping that I needed to do over a week ago. I'm both proud and ashamed of my procrastinating ways.

Damn, these blogs are so self-indulgent. I just read two entries that made me lament that I won't have those 30 seconds of my life back again.

It was foggy here earlier in the week. I don't think that I...

Goodness David Bowie is soooo young in that clip.

The only thing I look forward to with the holidays is when they will be over. I haven't decorated, I don't listen to carols, in fact I am beginning to realize that I am seriously BAH HUMBUG !!!

Ohh, maybe we can have a SG summit in ATL. Iwould cook you some killer vegan and RAW foods. It is my area of expertise you should know. I have always been fascinated by the challenge of making delicious food without any animal product !!

I have almost no food in the apartment at the moment. When did I become so lazy that I can't even get soymilk and cereal from the store?

I saw this this film yesterday. It's quite amazing at how bothered some people become regarding words. Still, even among the fuck-phobes, seeing Pat Boone and his well-intentioned fantasy world was predictably entertaining.

I'm looking so...

Yeah, if there was a straight, flat road between the two cities the drive would be fast.
Why are you getting rid of your stuff? Just to reduce clutter?
I already have a jersey. I'm not sure if I know anyone else who needs one. If you can believe it, my sister and brother are Oilers fans. *shudder*
I blame myself for my brother. I went away to university while he was still learning right from wrong and my sister and her husband corrupted him.

See, there are some drawbacks to having friends in lots of different places: how to make the time to see everyone? After our monster 2 week trip to Ireland at the New Year, I have a friend in St. Kitts who wants me to visit her during her last semester at school (and I believe you said you'd been there and I should check it out too). So after all that is behind me, I will be sure to factor in a maiden voyage to America's Left Coast to see you and the lovely C. wink

it was good... During the day it was kind of boring but someone convinced me to get out of te computer and go have some drinks.
Good talking, good beer, good place. Everything good.... wink

Sunday is gonna be more lazy. Christmas cards and laundry to do... whole new week on the way.

- yes, I wish I was in Seattle. But if I ever go there, I'll let you crazy nice ppl know and we can hang out! biggrin

During the film I saw this evening, I witnessed clips of Morton Downey's show from the late 1980s. I don't know if a TV show can better remind of those inglorious days of high school for me than that one. Of course, the only ones who will remember this are those of a certain age who lived in the greater New York City area at...
