I have a number of thoughts in mind, but each one feels distinctly common. And, really, I repeat myself often enough as it is.

I'll be seeing the redwoods of northern California (the Arcata / Eureka area) this weekend. I'm hoping that that will be good. Certainly should be.

San Diego is an eminently pleasant city. Its temperate climate and proximity to the ocean are, in my mind, legitimate reasons for its popularity. That said, the city really does seem to be a bit lacking in identity. I had a good time there, but SF and LA are much more interesting cities to visit.

I don't know about my dreams. Sometimes they conincide with shit other times they don't. It's pretty random. I don't know what to think of them. I'm buddhist, so I feel that we are all karmically linked and I also believe in chaos theory which states that everything, no matter how random it seems, was meant to happen.

The closest I've ever come to predicting something from a dream was last year on April 15th. I had a dream where a man just walked up to me and said "39 days". 39 days later over a 1000 people died in flash floods in the Dominican Republic. Oh yeah, I also had a dream about 2 violent tornados side by side just before 9/11.

i don't know.

As for Marylin Monroe films I can heartily recommend Some Like It Hot (though I've never seen it in one sitting). Marylin's character is a slutty alcoholic who would never be a leading lady in hollywood nowadays, so that's fantastic, and the bizarre gender-bending flexi-sexual men at the end were well ahead of their time. Big plus points.

And don't listen to Leola. She is nice eye-candy but doesn't have two brain cells to rub together.
