Wednesday was a day in which much went well for me. Not only have I been granted a free pass to slack off at work for a few days (the sympathy one gets for finishing off a big project is larger than I would have expected), but I was informed of a raise which exceeded inflation. I'm pretty certain that I'm overpaid and exceedingly fortunate, but, on that basic gut level, I'm ok with that.
My favourite film I've seen at the 2005 SIFF so far. It was subtitled, but I wish that I had studied French with a bit more focus along the way.
