I can't believe that I lived so many years of my life without avocados. I'm amazed at the joy that can come from a simple green fruit.
Work ought to be rather busy this week, but I'm not stressing about the May 31 deadline *quite* as much as I had in recent times. That doesn't mean that I won't be in high anxiety mode come Memorial Day, but, really, that's to be expected with my personality type.
Each of the new episodes of The Simpsons tonight were good. Maybe they haven't run out of ideas, after all.
My two-year anniversary in Seattle just passed and I couldn't think more of the place than I do. It'll be a damned shame when the inevitable earthquake screws this city up big-time. I just hope that the Alaska Way Viaduct is clear when the next big one hits. That's quite the cheery thought for the day, no?
